Editing Rates

These are my rates; they are discounted from the rates listed at the Editorial Freelancers Association (https://www.the-efa.org/rates/).

I also offer packages if you would prefer. Please note, a contract will be required and I expect half of fees to be paid at contract signing with the remainder at completion of task.

Copy Editing
	Fiction	0.5 cents per word
	Graphic Novels (including comics)	0.5 cents per word
	Technical	2.0 cents per word
Proofreading
	Fiction	0.1 cents per word
	Graphic Novels (including comics)	0.1 cents per word
	Technical	1.0 cents per word
Formatting
	Fiction (Word/Google)	$100 up to 100,000 words
	Technical (compliant with ANSI/NISO standards)	$125 up to 50,000 words
PDF Generation *add on to Format only		$25
eBook Generation (ePUB format) *discount available if add on to Format		$100

NOTE: I do not edit slasher horror, gore horror, torture, gratuitous violence, or erotica (I am simply not good at editing scenes like these.)
